Hike and Campfire!

We'll be outside exploring the trails and pond at Cherry Lawn Park, searching for signs of the changing seasons, finishing up our hike with S'mores around the campfire.   $60/child

Wednesday, October 23

Afternoon with the Animals!

We'll be spending time with our friendly and fascinating animal ambassadors - An opportunity for your animal lover to have up-close, hands-on encounters with our reptiles, mammals and birds. $ 60/child

Family program with animals and S'mores! 

Join us behind the nature center for a presentation with Ginny Apple, master wildlife conservationist with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. Ginny will present an interactive family program on Connecticut's fearsome four: the raccoon, opossum, skunk and porcupine!  Learn more about these mysterious nocturnal creatures by listening to their calls, touching their pelts, identifying their tracks and more. After the presentation, we will bring out our native animal ambassadors for you to meet and make S'mores at our firepit.
