Our young ones get very excited when seeing our animals…and we love that! But too many little ones around our animals at the same time can be stressful for our resident animals. So to ensure the best possible animal encounter we cap out at 10 children for our youngest ones.

Because some of our party goers are very young, we do allow 1 ADULT PER CHILD to stay for our 3 & 4 year old parties, but for 5+ we do request drop-off only. However, please keep in mind that this is a childrens’ party, and the party will be for children only. Any adults in attendance (other than the birthday child’s parents) will be asked to gather in a classroom separate from where the main party is happening. If you wish to bring food for the adults that is fine, just remember there is no alcohol allowed and you are responsible for the set up/clean up of any adult food and drink.

The DNC provides a party host, an assistant, all activities and all the program content for the party. You provide any food you wish. Some do pizza and cake, some light snacks and cupcakes, and some just birthday cake – it is really up to you! Don’t forget to bring tablecloths and your paper goods.

You may bring decorations if you wish (just remember no balloons, noisemakers or pinatas allowed). Those who do bring decorations usually bring table décor and a wall sign or two. Just keep in mind whatever you bring you should take back with you.

We do birthday parties on Saturdays and Sundays, and offer either a 10:30am start or a 1:00pm
