Here is your chance to make a permanent impact on the Darien Nature Center!

The front walkway at the Nature Center, installed in 2001, is in serious need of repair.

We seek to raise $50,000 for the walkway reconstruction and need your help!

Contributions of $500 and up to this important capital project will be recognized

with a personalized engraved paving stone with text of your choice.

Paver Sizes

4" x 8" - up to 3 lines, 16 spaces per line

6" x 9" - up to 4 lines, 17 spaces per line

12" x 12" - up to 6 lines, 23 spaces per line

Depending on the size purchased,

you may submit an inscription,

logo, or a line art drawing to

engrave on your paver.

Please help us achieve our goal by purchasing a paver for the walkway, which will be installed in late summer 2024 and renamed the David Sinclair Memorial Walkway. Once complete, the pavers will stretch across the

front of the Nature Center, providing a safe and more welcoming entry for all of our visitors. These engraved pavers are an opportunity for you to commemorate your love for and support of the Darien Nature Center

and have permanent recognition at the Nature Center!

You can honor or memorialize a loved one, recognize a favorite nature educator,

highlight your business or club, or celebrate your family’s time with the Nature Center.

The David Sinclair Memorial Walkway will honor the memory of Darien resident David Sinclair.

 Mr. Sinclair was a long-tenured Darien Nature Center board member who made meaningful

 contributions to our organization year after year.
