Join us for a Preschool Open House at the Darien Nature Center! Early experiences in nature foster curious, joyful learners, and a life-long love of the natural world. Our outdoor classrooms and nature-based curriculum provide a holistic preschool experience unlike any other in the community. Meet some of our passionate and experienced nature educators and learn firsthand why the forest classroom is so healthy for young children.

The open house will start with an introduction of our program and philosophy by our preschool director, followed by a tour of our outdoor classrooms. In our classrooms you will learn about a typical day, our curriculum and hands-on activities and have a chance to ask your questions. We look forward to meeting you and the opportunity to share why we are so passionate about nature education.
