Animal Caretakers Club
Grades 1 – 6   
Exercising the animals, cleaning their habitats and learning their ways are among the duties of the members of the Animal Caretakers Club. At the end of each session, the children choose their favorite animal and do a small presentation for their families.

Survivor
Grades 4 and 5

“Survivor” is back! This program for children in grades 4 and 5 tests the survival skills of the energetic 10 and 11 year-old. The kids will erect shelters, build fires, tie knots, learn to use a compass and test their capabilities in trust building exercises. This great outdoor program will run on Wednesday this fall.

Nature Detectives
Grades 1 through 3
 

Discover nature’s mysteries out on the trails and pond. Investigate, classify, and demystify nature’s myths.  What’s the deal with the platypus?  Has it ever rained frogs?   Did you know that sea stars eject their stomachs to eat?  Children  will learn about the crazy and weird phenomenon found in nature through games, crafts and hands on investigations.  Animal visitors will be featured each week.
